From August 11-13, The Knights return to the Skaneateles Festival for three memorable evening performances.
First, on Thursday, August 11, The Knights explore concert works by film composers, including John Williams, Philip Glass, and Leonard Bernstein, along with a couple favorite film themes.
Then, on Friday, August 12, The Knights are joined by Aaron Wunsch, Julia Bruskin, and Alex Sopp for a dazzling program, featuring Bach’s beloved Concerto for Two Violins, two deeply lyrical works by Antonín Dvořák and Gerald Finzi, and Judd Greenstein’s colorful Flute Concerto.
Finally, on Saturday, August 13, The Knights and Gil Shaham present The Kreutzer Project, featuring music related to, or inspired by, Beethoven’s “Kreutzer” Sonata.
