“I am a first time eligible voter”

Join Knights members Kyle Armbrust, Alex Greenbaum, Ariana Kim, and Miranda Sielaff for thoughtful conversations with their students about voting, civic engagement, and how it relates to music-making. Each student is voting in a presidential election for the first time this November, and Knights musicians allow them to share with you why participating in this way is so meaningful. The series wraps up with a discussion between Knights cellist Caitlin Sullivan and violinist Yaira Matyakubova as Yaira participates in her first election as a recently naturalized US citizen. Interviews were released between October 23 and 30, 2020.
